Book Busters Bookkeeping Service

Book Busters Bookkeeping Service BBook Busters Bookkeeping Service (BBBS) is owned and operated by Sue Kitching. Sue has an extensive background in establishing and maintaining small and medium-sized bookkeeping systems. She brings 39 years of experience to focus on organizing and supporting client’s personal and business bookkeeping needs and she understands the confidential nature of the work. Sue gained a strong background in construction the first half of her career while working for construction companies. By 1984 she decided to strike out on her own with the goal to provide each client the customized level of service that would best fit their needs and work with each client to resolve or prevent the problems business owners experience with their bookkeeping. While that goal has not wavered during the 26 years of BBBS’s existence, the methods of delivery have been fined tuned. For example, when Sue started in the field, all work was done by hand. Her first experience with technology didn’t come until 1979. Since then, the technology has developed and become indispensable. The newest evolution for BBBS has been to give clients the added benefit of remote support, thus saving them time and costs. This capability has also allowed BBBS to provide service to clients outside of the immediate area. To keep BBBS up-to-date on new technology, Sue and her staff attend several continuing education courses each year. She is proud to be one of the few in our area to have accomplished the advanced certification for QuickBooks. As a full charge bookkeeping service, BBBS can meet the individualized needs of each client. Expertise includes: • Quick Books ProAdvisors • Quick Books Training and Setup • Full Bookkeeping Service • Full Payroll Service & Reports • Staff of Certified Bookkeepers Sue’s advice for choosing a service is to do your homework. Your first meeting with a prospective bookkeeper should be much like an interview. Ask about their background, for references and if they have experience with your type of business. Meet in their office so you can see first hand how well it functions. Sue is continually thinking of ways to improve and increase services. Clients very much appreciate the work BBBS performs for them, as well as the high level of commitment to customer care. Bruce Wood, owner of B. Woodmore Painting in Brentwood says, “Since Book Busters has taken over my (headache) paperwork, I have been able to concentrate on what I do best – taking care of my employees and customers, not to mention increasing my family time.” Tasco Valves, President Matt La Flamme of Tasco Valves Unlimited in Brentwood says, “When Tasco Valves Unlimited began business in June of 1996, the bookkeeping task was immediately turned over to Book Busters Bookkeeping Service. BBBS has proven invaluable in providing accurate record keeping, including financial statements and payment reporting without error.” Sue is not all work, however, she enjoys family boating and camping and through the years has been involved in Cub Scouts, PTA, and 4-H activities. She is a member of several professional bookkeepers’ associations, the National Association of Female Executives (NAFE) and the Delta Business ConneXions Chapter of BNI. As a member of the Brentwood Chamber, she has lent her expertise to the CornFest Committee, as well as other activities. BBBS is located in Brentwood at 857 Second Street, Suite C.
